- Automation systems (Employees, Machines, Sales Channels)
- Narrative events and player choices
- Offline progression
- In-app purchases (optional)
- Multi-language support (English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese)

ARTICLE 3 - LICENSE GRANT

3.1 Limited License:
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
   - Download and install Teezan Empire on your personal mobile device
   - Access and use the Game for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes

ARTICLE 5 - IN-APP PURCHASES

If you submit any feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Game, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, modify, publish, and distribute that feedback without compensation or attribution.

ARTICLE 1 - LICENSE

1.1 Grant:
Samouraï Coop grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use Teezan Empire on mobile devices (iOS and Android) that you own or control.

1.2 Scope:
This license is for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes only.

1.3 Technology:
Teezan Empire is built with React Native, Expo SDK 53, and includes various open-source libraries. Your use is subject to any applicable open-source licenses.

ARTICLE 2 - RESTRICTIONS

You shall NOT:
- Copy, distribute, or publicly display the Game
- Modify, translate, adapt, or create derivative works
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices or labels
- Use the Game for commercial purposes without written authorization
- Rent, lease, lend, or sublicense the Game
- Transfer the Game to another person without our consent
- Use cheats, exploits, automation software, bots, or unauthorized modifications
- Circumvent any technological measures designed to control access
- Use the Game in violation of any applicable law or regulation

ARTICLE 3 - OWNERSHIP

3.1 The Game is licensed, not sold. Samouraï Coop retains all rights, title, and interest in and to Teezan Empire, including all intellectual property rights.

3.2 This includes all content: code, artwork, music (Empire Theme, Forêt Calme, etc.), text, game mechanics, and any updates or modifications.

3.3 Open-source components are subject to their respective licenses.

ARTICLE 4 - UPDATES AND SUPPORT
-------------------------------

4.1 We may provide updates, patches, new content, or new versions of Teezan Empire. These are subject to this EULA unless accompanied by separate terms.

4.2 We are under no obligation to provide updates, support, or maintenance for the Game.

4.3 Updates may modify game balance, features, or content. You agree that such changes are within our discretion.

ARTICLE 5 - TERMINATION
-----------------------

5.1 This EULA is effective until terminated.

5.2 It terminates automatically if you fail to comply with any term.

5.3 Upon termination, you must immediately:
   - Stop using Teezan Empire
   - Delete all copies from your devices
   - Destroy any related materials in your possession

5.4 We may terminate this EULA and your access at any time for any reason.

ARTICLE 6 - DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

TEEZAN EMPIRE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- The Game will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Defects will be corrected
- The Game is free of viruses or harmful components
- The results of using the Game will meet your requirements

ARTICLE 7 - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SAMOURAÏ COOP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF TEEZAN EMPIRE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR IN-APP PURCHASES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY EUROS (€50), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

ARTICLE 8 - GOVERNING LAW

This EULA is governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

ARTICLE 9 - ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This EULA, together with the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, constitutes the entire agreement regarding Teezan Empire.

SECTION 6: REFUND POLICY

ARTICLE 1 - GENERAL POLICY

All purchases made within Teezan Empire are final and non-refundable, except as provided below or as required by applicable law.

Teezan Empire offers optional in-app purchases including:
- Cosmetic items
- Time skip features (e.g., "Double Speed" boosts)
- Other convenience features

These purchases are optional and do not create pay-to-win advantages.

ARTICLE 2 - PLATFORM POLICIES

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Refund requests should be directed to the respective platform:

ARTICLE 3 - EXCEPTIONS

- Duplicate charges due to technical errors
- Purchases made by minors without parental consent

ARTICLE 4 - HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

1. First, contact the platform where you made the purchase (Apple or Google)

2. If unresolved, contact us directly at support@samourai.coop with:
   - Your purchase receipt or transaction ID
   - Detailed description of the issue
   - Device information (model, OS version)
   - Screenshots if applicable

3. We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.

ARTICLE 5 - CONSUMER RIGHTS (EU)

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under French and EU consumer protection laws.

For digital content (such as in-app purchases in Teezan Empire):
- EU consumers have a 14-day withdrawal right for digital content, UNLESS you have given explicit consent to begin the download/access and acknowledged that you lose the withdrawal right once the digital content has been fully provided.
- By completing a purchase and accessing the Virtual Items, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge the loss of your withdrawal right.

ARTICLE 6 - VIRTUAL ITEMS

Please note that:
- Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value
- Virtual Items cannot be refunded for game balance changes
- Virtual Items may be modified or removed for legitimate reasons
- Refunds do not include bonuses or benefits already used
