The Samouraï Grants are an online and physical event supporting young filmmakers and creatives from around the world.
A young filmmaker or film team can take part in regularly announced Kino* (short film competitions based on a theme and time constraint), and win cash prizes.

Community Concept
Creative people need mates
They can also submit a project for a short film, feature film, animation or other content of their choice, and find potential financial support.
At the same time, the community will be able to take part in regular physical events where they can meet up, discover the films they've produced, and network with other young creatives from all walks of life.
The platform's governance and technical architecture will be distributed, so the community will have the opportunity to vote on and support all forms of film formats.

Blockchain & cooperativism
Based on Gno.land smartcontracts for global organization, and IPFS for all content, the platform itself will explore a community-owned platform approach that is transparent, secure and incensurable.
This experience of community, cooperativism, creativity, events and technology is being developed by Samouraï Coop's team of engineers, in partnership with various major players in the Web3 ecosystem, including Gno.land, Protocol Labs, IPFS, URSCOP, and others to be announced shortly.
