ARTICLE 9 - CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Teezan Empire is rated for all ages (PEGI 3 / 4+). The game contains no violence, inappropriate content, or real-world gambling. It features satirical French humor in a family-friendly context.

We take children’s privacy seriously and comply with applicable laws including:

By downloading, installing, or using Teezan Empire, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Game.

ARTICLE 1 - ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

1.1 By accessing or using Teezan Empire, you confirm that:

• You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement

1.2 If you are using the Game on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

ARTICLE 2 - GAME DESCRIPTION

Teezan Empire is a satirical, narrative-driven incremental idle game (“clicker/idler”) about building a French herbal tea empire. Players start as a humble herbalist in the French countryside and progress through various eras of business growth.

The Game includes:

• Resource management (Plants, Herbal Teas, Money, Energy, Reputation, Stress)
• Automation systems (Employees, Machines, Sales Channels)
• Narrative events and player choices
• Offline progression
• In-app purchases (optional)
• Multi-language support (English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese)

ARTICLE 3 - LICENSE GRANT

3.1 Limited License:
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install Teezan Empire on your personal mobile device
• Access and use the Game for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes

3.2 Restrictions:
You may NOT:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the Game
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices (including our copyright notices)
• Use the Game for commercial purposes without authorization
• Transfer, sublicense, or assign your rights
• Use automated systems, bots, or scripts within the Game
• Exploit bugs, glitches, or game mechanics for unfair advantage
• Create derivative works based on the Game
• Manipulate game state data or save files
• Use the Game in any way that violates applicable laws

ARTICLE 4 - USER ACCOUNTS AND PROFILES

4.1 Profile Creation:
During onboarding, you may create a player profile with a name. You agree to:

• Provide a name that is not offensive, inappropriate, or infringing
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your profile
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4.2 Game Progress:
Your game progress is stored locally on your device. We are not responsible for data loss due to device changes, uninstallation, or technical failures. Future versions may include cloud backup features.

4.3 Profile Termination:
We may delete your profile and game data if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

ARTICLE 5 - IN-APP PURCHASES

5.1 Virtual Items and Currency:
Teezan Empire may offer virtual items, cosmetics, time skips, or other content for purchase (“Virtual Items”). You understand that:

• Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value
• Virtual Items are licensed, not sold, to you
• Virtual Items cannot be transferred, traded, or exchanged outside the Game
• Virtual Items may be modified, rebalanced, or removed at our discretion
• Virtual Items include but are not limited to: cosmetic skins, production boosts, time acceleration features

5.2 Payment Processing:
All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. By making a purchase, you agree to their respective terms and conditions.

5.3 Pricing:
Prices are displayed in your local currency and may vary by region. Prices are subject to change without notice. Sales tax may be added where applicable.

5.4 No Refunds:
All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or platform policies. For refund requests, please contact Apple or Google directly.

5.5 No Pay-to-Win:
Teezan Empire is designed to be fully enjoyable without purchases. In-app purchases provide convenience or cosmetic features only and do not create mandatory barriers to progression.

ARTICLE 6 - USER CONDUCT

6.1 Prohibited Activities:
You agree NOT to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on any intellectual property rights
• Attempt to hack, exploit, or manipulate the Game
• Use cheats, automation software, or unauthorized modifications
• Interfere with the Game’s operation or servers
• Engage in fraudulent activities or chargebacks
• Create multiple accounts to exploit game mechanics
• Distribute viruses or malicious code
• Engage in any activity that could damage the Game or our reputation

6.2 Consequences:
Violation of these rules may result in:

• Warning
• Temporary suspension
• Permanent deletion of game data
• Legal action where appropriate

ARTICLE 7 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Teezan Empire and all its content, including but not limited to:

• Music tracks (Empire Theme, Forêt Calme, Empire Theme II, Matins Brumeux)
• Sound effects and audio

• Software code and algorithms
• Trademarks, logos, and branding
• Character designs and names
• Game mechanics and systems

are owned by or licensed to Samouraï Coop and are protected by intellectual property laws including copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.

7.2 User Feedback:
If you submit any feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Game, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, modify, publish, and distribute that feedback without compensation or attribution.

7.3 Copyright Claims:
If you believe your intellectual property rights have been infringed, please contact us at support@samourai.coop with:

• Description of the copyrighted work
• Location of the allegedly infringing material
• Your contact information
• A statement of good faith belief
• Your signature (electronic is acceptable)

ARTICLE 8 - DISCLAIMERS

8.1 “As Is” Basis:
TEEZAN EMPIRE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• NON-INFRINGEMENT
• UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION
• ACCURACY OF GAME CONTENT (including satirical elements)

8.2 No Guarantees:
We do not guarantee that:

• The Game will meet your requirements or expectations
• The Game will be available at all times
• Errors, bugs, or glitches will be corrected
• The Game is free of viruses or harmful components
• Your game progress will be preserved indefinitely
• The Game will continue to be supported or updated

8.3 Satirical Content:
Teezan Empire contains satirical humor about French culture, business, politics, and economics. This content is fictional and for entertainment purposes only. Any resemblance to real persons, businesses, or events is coincidental.

ARTICLE 9 - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

9.1 TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits or revenue
• Loss of game progress or data
• Loss of use or enjoyment
• Other intangible losses

9.2 Maximum Liability:
Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of:

• The amount you paid for in-app purchases in the last 12 months
• Fifty euros (€50)

9.3 Exceptions:
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law or in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

ARTICLE 10 - INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Samouraï Coop, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any content you generate or share related to the Game

ARTICLE 11 - MODIFICATIONS TO THE GAME

11.1 Updates and Changes:
We may update, modify, rebalance, or discontinue Teezan Empire or any features at any time without notice. This includes:

• Adding or removing game features
• Adjusting game balance and progression
• Modifying Virtual Items and their effects
• Updating visual assets and music
• Changing supported platforms or devices

11.2 Era and Feature Changes:
We reserve the right to modify any game era, event, automation option, or progression system at our discretion.

11.3 No Compensation:
You acknowledge that modifications may affect your experience and you are not entitled to compensation for any changes.

ARTICLE 12 - TERMINATION

You may stop using Teezan Empire and delete it from your device at any time.

12.2 By Us:
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

12.3 Effects of Termination:
Upon termination:

• Your license to use the Game ends immediately
• You lose access to Virtual Items and game progress
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

SECTION 5: END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is a legal agreement between you and Samouraï Coop for the use of the Teezan Empire mobile game application.

BY INSTALLING OR USING TEEZAN EMPIRE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS EULA.

ARTICLE 1 - LICENSE

1.1 Grant:
Samouraï Coop grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use Teezan Empire on mobile devices (iOS and Android) that you own or control.

1.2 Scope:
This license is for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes only.

1.3 Technology:
Teezan Empire is built with React Native, Expo SDK 53, and includes various open-source libraries. Your use is subject to any applicable open-source licenses.

ARTICLE 2 - RESTRICTIONS

You shall NOT:

• Copy, distribute, or publicly display the Game
• Modify, translate, adapt, or create derivative works
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the Game for commercial purposes without written authorization
• Rent, lease, lend, or sublicense the Game
• Transfer the Game to another person without our consent
• Use cheats, exploits, automation software, bots, or unauthorized modifications
• Circumvent any technological measures designed to control access
• Use the Game in violation of any applicable law or regulation

3.1 The Game is licensed, not sold. Samouraï Coop retains all rights, title, and interest in and to Teezan Empire, including all intellectual property rights.

3.2 This includes all content: code, artwork, music (Empire Theme, Forêt Calme, etc.), text, game mechanics, and any updates or modifications.

3.3 Open-source components are subject to their respective licenses.

ARTICLE 4 - UPDATES AND SUPPORT

4.1 We may provide updates, patches, new content, or new versions of Teezan Empire. These are subject to this EULA unless accompanied by separate terms.

4.2 We are under no obligation to provide updates, support, or maintenance for the Game.

4.3 Updates may modify game balance, features, or content. You agree that such changes are within our discretion.

ARTICLE 5 - TERMINATION

5.1 This EULA is effective until terminated.

5.2 It terminates automatically if you fail to comply with any term.

5.3 Upon termination, you must immediately:

• Stop using Teezan Empire
• Delete all copies from your devices
• Destroy any related materials in your possession

5.4 We may terminate this EULA and your access at any time for any reason.

ARTICLE 6 - DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

TEEZAN EMPIRE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Game will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The Game is free of viruses or harmful components
• The results of using the Game will meet your requirements

ARTICLE 7 - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SAMOURAÏ COOP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF TEEZAN EMPIRE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR IN-APP PURCHASES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY EUROS (€50), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

ARTICLE 8 - GOVERNING LAW

This EULA is governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

ARTICLE 9 - ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This EULA, together with the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, constitutes the entire agreement regarding Teezan Empire.

SECTION 6: REFUND POLICY

ARTICLE 1 - GENERAL POLICY

All purchases made within Teezan Empire are final and non-refundable, except as provided below or as required by applicable law.

Teezan Empire offers optional in-app purchases including:

• Cosmetic items
• Time skip features (e.g., “Double Speed” boosts)
• Other convenience features

These purchases are optional and do not create pay-to-win advantages.

ARTICLE 2 - PLATFORM POLICIES

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Refund requests should be directed to the respective platform:

• Purchases made by minors without parental consent

ARTICLE 4 - HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

1. First, contact the platform where you made the purchase (Apple or Google)

2. If unresolved, contact us directly at support@samourai.coop with:

• Your purchase receipt or transaction ID
• Detailed description of the issue
• Device information (model, OS version)
• Screenshots if applicable

3. We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.

ARTICLE 5 - CONSUMER RIGHTS (EU)

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under French and EU consumer protection laws.

For digital content (such as in-app purchases in Teezan Empire):

• EU consumers have a 14-day withdrawal right for digital content, UNLESS you have given explicit consent to begin the download/access and acknowledged that you lose the withdrawal right once the digital content has been fully provided.
• By completing a purchase and accessing the Virtual Items, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge the loss of your withdrawal right.

ARTICLE 6 - VIRTUAL ITEMS

Please note that:

• Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value
• Virtual Items cannot be refunded for game balance changes
• Virtual Items may be modified or removed for legitimate reasons
• Refunds do not include bonuses or benefits already used
